Nancy Hicks

Nancy Ann Hicks, loving aunt and eternal child, passed away Monday, July 3, 2006, at the age of 62, at a Mansfield nursing home, with family by her side. ??? Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Blessing Colonial Chapel, 401 Elm St., Mansfield. Burial: She will be laid to rest next to her parents in a private graveside service in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blessing Funeral Home. ??? Nancy was born Jan. 10, 1944, in Dallas to Henry Robbins Hicks and Mary Elizabeth Ducort. ??? She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Louise Phillips. ??? The family would like to express their heart-felt appreciation to all the special people at Mansfield Nursing Home and the caring staff of American Hospice for their loving care of Nancy. ??? Survivors: Her brother-in-law, R. Pratt Phillips of Mansfield; nieces, Gail Conley of Mansfield, Debbie Cromwell and husband, Frank of Waco, and Kathy Lovitto of Arlington; nephews, John Phillips and wife, Tracy of Mansfield, and Sherwin Phillips and wife, Phyllis of Burleson; and numerous grandnephews and nieces and great-grandnephews and nieces.
