Nelda Bassham

Nelda, a native of Boyd, was born Sept. 19, 1930. She was a graduate of Boyd High School and attended Texas Wesleyan College. She retired from the public relations department of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1992 after 30 years of service. She was a former member of Riverside Christian Church and most recently a member of Trinity Christian Church in Hurst.        Survivors: Husband, Don L. Bassham of Haltom City; son, David M. Bassham of North Richland Hills; daughters, Donna Taylor and husband, Phil, of Grapevine, Dr. Robin Hall and husband, Dr. James Hall, of Colleyville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Pat Goodger of Boyd; sister, Emily Ann Tatum and husband, O.T., of Fort Worth; many nieces and nephews.
