Neli Maluf

HURST -- Neli Maluf went home to be with the Lord Friday, Nov. 15, 2013. Memorial service: 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home. Neli was born in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, on April 8, 1950. She lived in this area for more than 30 years. Neli worked at American Airlines for over 20 years. She volunteered for the Neurological Fitness Foundation and Meals on Wheels. Neli was very much involved in her community and brought joy to all the relationships she fostered with her friends and family. She loved gardening, and respected all of God's creations, from butterflies and ladybugs to plants, trees and flowers. Neli faced all the challenges in her life with determination and gratitude...never looking back. Survivors: Her beloved son, Lucas Morgan and his father, Bill Morgan; sisters, Vera, Norma, and Angela; and many dear friends.
