Nellie Mattson

BEDFORD -- Marie Mattson, 70, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Memorial service: 4 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Marie was devoted to her family spending her whole life taking care of her kids. She spent many years with Tom Thumb in Bedford, where she established friendships with her customers in the deli department and her co-workers that endure today. Survivors: Daughters, Karen Harrison and her husband, Mike, Rhonda Lee Mattson, Dawn Marie Mattson and Laura Jean Mattson; brother, Winston Watson; grandchildren, Chrissy, Reanne and Courtney; and great-granddaughter, Rosa.
