NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Nellie Mae Lane Taylor passed away peacefully Monday, April 29, 2012. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Wednesday in Old Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, Ga. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family will accept contributions to be used toward funeral expenses. She was born at Fort Bragg, N.C., on Sept. 7, 1929, the daughter of Sarah Ida Wilson Lane and Ellis Eugene Lane of Barnesville, Ga. Mrs. Taylor attended school and grew up in Barnesville. After marrying Edward Taylor they lived in Griffin, where she worked for Dundee Mills, Griffin Garment and Taylor's Paint and Body Shop. She and her family were members of Second Baptist Church. In 1986 she moved to Bedford to live with her daughter, Arliene and family. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Edward Taylor. Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Arliene Taylor Moore; grandson, Mike Brian Moore and wife, Sheilah; granddaughter, Angela Nicole Moore of New York.
