Nicholas F. Nagy, 95, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Haslet, Texas where he lived for the past 5 years. Prior to that he was a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania. He started his career as a young man with ITT as a Architectural Draftsman, which he retired from with over 25 years of service. He was a major contributor to the design of the first computer, which was a major accomplishment. His hobbies included, but were not limited to, making wooden toys, bird houses, trains and cars each with hand painted detail. Nicholas also spent hours and hours doing word search puzzles. He is survived by his daughter Sandra A Zarate and her husband Eli Zarate Jr of Haslet, Texas; sons Raymond Nagy of Bay City, Michigan and David Nagy and his wife Lisa Nagy of Washingtonville, NY; grandchildren Nicole Schaedel, Amy Cromer, Dylan Nagy, Alexander Nagy and Heather Nagy; great grandchildren Kayla Marie Harris and Emma Claire Schaedel.
