NORMA PRESTON

A native of Hamilton, Norma Lee was born Oct. 30, 1924, the daughter of William Henry and Effie Mae Mack Short. After moving to Fort Worth, she married Kenneth J. Preston in 1941.  Norma was a devoted wife and mother. She did wonderful handwork and was an accomplished cook, often preparing the family feast.  Survivors: Husband of 65 years, Kenneth J. Preston; daughters, Norma Jones and her husband, W.T., and Deborah Wiggins and her husband, Sonny; grandchildren, Douglas Preston Jones, Kristy Jones, Kenneth Jones, Preston Wiggins, Jodi Wiggins and Justin Wiggins; great-grandchildren, Taylor Jones, Erin Jones, Travis Jones, Tatum Jones, Jessica Wiggins, Justice Wiggins, Katlyn Wiggins and Ashly Wiggins, all of Fort Worth; and brother, Garland Short and his wife, Mary, of Hamilton.
