HALTOM CITY -- Ona Lou Ott, 67, passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2007. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Ave., Burleson. Interment: Burleson Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home. "She is now absent from the body and face to face with the Lord."-- 2 Corinthians 5:8. Lou was born June 13, 1940, in Ryan, Okla., the daughter of Robert Barron and Johnnie Belle Enos Parks. She was a devoted mother whose life centered around her love for her children and grandchildren. She retired from Tandy Radio Shack after 25 years. Lou loved cooking, and her favorite day was Sunday, which she referred to as family day. Lou was truly a wonderful blessing to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by both her parents. Survivors: Children, Joey Ott, Jeff Ott, DeeDee LaPrade and Beth Neeley and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Michael Graham, Christy Leevey, Ashley Ott, Lindsey Ott, Cassy LaPrade, Shelby Lampley, Sarah LaPrade, Jonathan LaPrade, Stephen LaPrade, Phillip LaPrade, Samantha Neeley and Amanda LaPrade; brothers, Robert Parks and wife, Betty, Harold Parks and wife, Barbara, and Darrell Parks; sisters, Pauline Webster, Peg Klopfenstine, Dean White and husband, Belvin, Faye Nell Story and husband, David, and Mickey Clayton; and several nieces and nephews.
