Oneita Shirley

BRITTON-- Oneita Faye Shirley, 79, passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at a Mansfield nursing facility. Oneita was born in Britton on Jan. 9, 1931, the daughter of Joe and Nellie Journey. She married James Christopher "Jim" Shirley on Aug. 4, 1951, in Mansfield. Oneita was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, on Aug. 27, 2004. Survivors: Son, Terry Shirley and wife, Becky, of Arlington; grandchildren, Lori and Matt Shirley; niece, Nancy Neal of Britton; nephew, Paul Neal and wife, Bobbie of Plano; numerous other nieces and nephews.
