???HALTOM CITY -- O.B. Guynn Jr., 88, retired owner of Guynn Furniture and Appliances, died Friday, July 29, 2005, at a Haltom City hospital. ??? Funeral: 3 p.m. Monday in Lucas Memorial Chapel, 517 N. Sylvania Ave. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, with the family receiving friends 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Mike Washburn will officiate. ??? O.B. was a longtime resident of the Birdville area (now Haltom City). ??? He and his parents established Guynn's One Stop store, which he operated 60 years, across from Birdville High School in Haltom City. He was an active member of the Birdville and, later, Richland Hills Church of Christ. He was past president of Haltom Richland Chamber of Commerce and a member of Lions and Kiwanis clubs. ??? He was a lifelong lover of his Western heritage. His great-grandchildren called him "Cowboy Granddad." ??? He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. ???
