??? Ova Lee Jones Hale, 88, a retired Monnig's Department Store sales clerk, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, in Mansfield. ??? Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Blessing Colonial Chapel, 401 Elm St., Mansfield. Burial: Johnson Cemetery, Dennis. Viewing: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday; no set visitation. ??? Ova was born Dec. 19, 1916, in Dennis, the daughter of Frank and Lucie Young Hatton. She graduated from Dennis High School and retired from Monnig's Department Store after 19 years of service. ??? She was preceded in death by her husbands, Laney Jones and Vernon Hale; four sisters; two brothers; and one grandchild. ??? Survivors: Sisters, Willie Mae Thomas of Chatsworth, Calif., and Joyce Hatton of Fort Worth; brother, Delmar Day of Jacksboro; daughter, Linda Anderson and husband, Charles, of Jacksboro; sons, Larry Kent Jones and wife, Kathy, of Watauga, Charles Jones and wife Maxine, of Mansfield and Daryl Jones of Los Alamos, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
