Patricia Ainsworth

Patricia A. Ainsworth, cherished wife, daughter, mother and grandmother, died peacefully at her home in Denton, TX on September 6, 2008 after a short battle with cancer.Pat was born on February 20, 1942 in Urania, Louisiana to Gilmer and Maggie McKenzie. She married Ron Ainsworth on September 29, 1961 in Magnolia, Arkansas. Pat was a dedicated family woman and enjoyed spending her days surrounded by those she loved. Throughout her years, she perfected her talents as an artist, beautician, and most recently master seamstress. She was of the Baptist faith. She and Ron lived in Hobbs, New Mexico and Midland, Texas before retiring in Denton. They shared a love of antiques and travel.A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 6-8pm at Denton Funeral Home. Services will also be held at Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia, Arkansas with a visitation on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 6-8pm, and a funeral service on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 2pm. She will be laid to rest at Magnolia Memorial Park with her father, Gilmer McKenzie and son, Russell Ainsworth.Pat is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ron; her mother, Maggie McKenzie of Perryville, Arkansas; three daughters, Ronda White of Denton, TX, Robin Bass and her husband Darren of McKinney, TX, and Becca Bustillos and her husband Ruben of Little Elm, TX; her sister, Judy Canant of Perryville, Arkansas; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.Services are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
