KELLER -- Patricia Ann Eichholz Baker, 58, passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at home after a courageous seven-year battle with breast cancer.        Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 309 E. Church St., Cuero. Interment: Hillside Cemetery in Cuero. Airline crew members and police officers attending are encouraged to wear their uniforms. Vigil: 4 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2016 Willis Lane, Keller, with a reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Keller.        Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully invites friends to honor her memory with donations in her name to the Wings Foundation, Box 610563, Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, Texas 75261.        Patty was born in Cuero on Sept. 14, 1952, to Norvan E. and Gertrude Frels Eichholz. Patty attended St. Michael's Catholic School and Cuero High School.        A flight attendant for American Airlines for 35 years, Patty was first based in New York City. Her career and life were marked by a kind heart, generous spirit and deep devotion to her family, friends and co-workers.        Patty married John Baker on Aug. 1, 1981. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller. Patty was always active in her community. An accomplished quilter, writer, photographer and cook, Patty freely shared her gifts. Her friends and family describe her as having determination, faith, forgiveness and an honesty that engendered lasting friendships.        Patty was awarded the PTA's lifetime Achievement Award, the Doris Kupfrele Award and the Wings Foundation Marie Lockbaum Legacy Award for lifetime achievement.        Patty was preceded in death by a son, Christopher.        Survivors: Her husband, John; daughter, Amanda of Keller; son, John and wife, Christina, and granddaughters, Emily and Madeline, all of Keller; son, James and wife, Cameron, and grandson, Jack all, of Austin; father, Norvan Eichholz and mother, Gertrude, of Cuero; mother-in-law, Freida Baker of Hobbs, N.M.; brother, Jimmy Eichholz of Cuero; many sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
