Patricia E. Wilkes

HURST -- Patricia Eleen Wilkes passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Service: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bedford. Interment: Krum Jackson Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, with a wake service at 6 p.m. Patricia was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Milford, Mass. She graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, Mass., in 1973 with a degree as a registered nurse. She worked in Milford Hospital in Milford, Mass., and at several Metroplex hospitals as a critical care nurse until she retired. Patricia was a member of St. Michael's Parish in Bedford. She was also a member of WOTM, Haltom City, Chapter 999. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, William James Whalen and Dorothy Eleanor "June" Whalen; and brother, William James "Billy" Whalen Jr. Survivors: Husband, Charles Wilkes; brothers and sisters, June Donnelly and husband, Phillip, Edward Whalen and wife, Debbie, Sheila Melanson and husband, John, Christina Whalen, Robert Whalen and wife, Sau, Helen Pleau and husband, William, Debra Moniz and husband, Joseph, Catherine Villani and Francis Whalen; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
