FORT WORTH -- Patrick Joseph "Joe" Driggers, 43, died Friday, June 12, 2009. Visitation: His family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 19, at Christ Episcopal Church in Nacogdoches. Born in Houston on Aug. 12, 1965, Patrick Joseph Driggers was the son of James Thomas Jr. and Ferra Barker Driggers. He was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin College in Nacogdoches and received his MBA in accounting from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. Joe was a caring, humble and thoughtful man. He loved learning and helping others; his fun-loving manner affected all around him. His professional career found him associated with Deloitte & Touche, Burlington Northern, HBK and Oak Hill Advisors, whom he delighted in those he worked with. But, Joe's passions were his son and wife and the World Affairs Council. "Our hearts are broken!" Survivors: In addition to his wife, Jill and son, Matthew, Joe is survived by his mother, Ferra Driggers Barker of Nacogdoches; brothers, James Thomas "Tom" Driggers III and his wife, Liz, of Reston, Va., and Daniel Driggers and his wife, Marlene, of Flower Mound; sister, Martha Driggers Perry of Nacogdoches; parents-in-law, Richard and Judy Hintz of Fort Worth; sister-in-law, Wendy Hintz Burg and her husband, Gary, of Portland, Ore.; seven nieces and nephews; one great-nephew; and many friends, Ryan Place neighbors and colleagues.
