Paul Louie Lubbers Our beloved Husband, Father and Grandpa made his peace with God on May 1, 2009 at the age of 86. Paul was born February 28, 1923 in Pilot Point to George and Mary Lubbers, he married Virgie (Tischler) Lubbers on June 8, 1948. All members of his family were by his side when he went from this life to the next. Paul served in War World II. He was a disabled Veteran and a farmer, he loved horses, chasing cows and plowing the land. He was a loving husband and farther and was married to the love of his life for 60 years. What he treasured most in his life was his family and was a role model for all his grandchildren whom loved him dearly. He is a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church of Pilot Point. He is preceded in death by his wife Virgie Lubbers. He is survived by two sons, Allen Lubbers and wife Teresa and Dale Lubbers, and two daughters, Janey Garcia and husband Randy and Judy Lubbers all of Denton. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Helen Noel, Tammy Lubbers, LeAnn Barett, Crystal Lubbers, Brent Lubbers and Paul Lubbers; six great-grandchildren Tanner Noel, Collin Bryant, Kaden Lubbers, Branden Lubbers, Halea Jane and Cole Hall and one great-great-grandchild, Tanner Noel, Jr. The World has lost a wonderful person, but Heaven has gained one great soul.
