Pappy was born Nov. 4, 1928, in Dundalk, Md. Upon graduation from high school in Chambersburg, Pa., he served 11 years in the United States Navy. He continued his career as an air traffic control specialist with the Federal Aviation Administration until his retirement in 1986. Pappy, or Pap as he was known by his grandchildren, enjoyed fishing, sports and particularly the Texas Rangers. He and his wife, Joanne, were season ticket holders for many years and loved to go to the ballpark. Paul loved his family and never let a day go by without talking about his partner Joanne, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage, until her passing in December 2004. He never doubted that she would be waiting for him when his day came. He had a love for life and a quick wit that would catch you off guard even in his final days. Pap, Pappy, Aggie, Dad...we will miss and love you always. Survivors: His children, Rick Miner and wife, Mary Jo, Arthur Miner and wife, Sharon, Michele McHale and husband, Pat, Paula...
