Peggy NeSmith

Peggy Jean McHan was born Feb. 2, 1926, in Brownwood to Luther and Lucille Kay McHan. Her family was her life. She was supportive of her children in school activities, elementary through high school. She worked for many years in the personnel department at Monnig's Department Store in downtown Fort Worth. She was a longtime member of Riverside Christian Church and was very active in the church. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Jean Ann Nesmith. Survivors: Left to mourn her death and treasure her memories are her husband, John Bill Nesmith; daughter, Kay Trotter of Fort Washington, Md.; son, David Nesmith and wife, Linda, of Bossier City, La.; son, Bill Nesmith and wife, Janice, of Tujunga, Calif.; daughter, Joy NeSmith and husband, Steve Mhoon; grandchildren, Shelley Trotter, Debbie Trotter Shadid and husband, Jason, Clint Nesmith, Chad Nesmith and Caitlin Nesmith; and brother, C.C.
