Huff-Slay Funeral Home Pilot Point, Texas Raymond Curtis Walling 72 of Pilot Point passed away at his residence Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Mr. Walling was born August 1, 1939 to Billie and Magdalene Beaver Walling in the Pilot Point area. He was a graduate of Pilot Point Gee High School and served his country from 1958 till 1962 as a United States Marine. He married Nell Buckley on June 19, 1976 in Irving, TX. Mr. Walling was retired from American Airlines and owned Walling Air Conditioning Company in Pilot Point. Services are scheduled for Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Huff/Slay Funeral Home Chapel in Pilot Point with Luther Slay and G. A. Moore, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey. Mr. Walling is survived by his wife, Nell of Pilot Point, one son, Michael of Gainesville; two daughters, Tracy Terry and husband, Roger of Pilot Point; and Michelle Walling of Pilot Point. Other survivors include two sisters, Jeanette Waldrum and husband, E.K. of Denton; and Eva Nichols of Pilot Point; four grandchildren, Austin Accettura; Chase Chenault and Matt Chenault all of Pilot Point, and Kaden Smotherman of Gainesville; and six nephews and one niece. Raymond was preceded in death by one brother, G. B. Walling. Services are under the direction of Terri Slay and the staff of Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point.
