FORT WORTH -- Rebecca Lulky, 94, a loving aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt, died Sunday morning, Aug. 10, 2008. Funeral: 4 p.m. Tuesday at Ahavath Achim Cemetery in Tyler. Rabbi Alan D. Learner will officiate. Memorials: Her family respectfully requests that no flowers be sent. However, consideration of contributions to a charity of one's choice or to Ahavath Achim Synagogue, Tyler, Texas, in Rebecca Lulky's memory, is suggested. Born in Little Rock, Ark., on July 14, 1914, Rebecca was the daughter of Mayer and Sarah Lulky. She was a longtime employee of Texas State Optical on the square in Tyler. Miss Lulky was a lifetime resident of Little Rock, Ark., Tyler, and most recently, Fort Worth. Miss Lulky was a member of Ahavath Achim Synagogue and its Sisterhood, and she was an active member for many years in Hadassah. Rebecca enjoyed music, gardening and golf. Her sweet smile, delightful sense of humor and loving presence will be sorely missed by those who knew her. In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her sisters, Fannie Z. Ginsberg and Jenny Haltzman; her brother, Morris Lulky; and her niece, Doris Jean Ginsberg Diamond.
