Rex King

FORT WORTH -- Rex King, 69, died of cancer in Fort Worth, TX on May 14, 2011.        Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, 941 Bedford Euless Rd., Hurst, Texas 76053.        Memorials: Donations may be made in his name to Community Hospice of Texas located at the James L. West Center, 1111 Summit Ave., Fort Worth, TX. 76102.        He was born in Floydada, TX on June 19, 1941. He married his wife Carol King of 44 years on August 6, 1966.        Rex worked for James Contract Draperies and American Airlines. Rex was a youth soccer coach for many years and was dedicated to the development of the whole child and touched the lives of many kids. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. His life revolved around his kids and soccer.        Survivors: Rex leaves behind his wife Carol; son Mike King and his wife Kelly; daughter Kaye Nazarro and her husband Nick; grandchildren, Emily, Mason, Braeden, Ryan and Grace.
