Richard Davis

Richard Harold Davis, 77, of Venus, Texas, passed away at 3:37 P.M. on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, in The Plaza at Mansfield. Richard was born in Palestine, Texas on December 13th 1931, the son of Clarence O. Davis and Gladys L. Hodge Davis. He married Opal Orean Williams on October 23, 1971 in Retta, Texas. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Army and a Ceramic tile contractor. Richard is survived by three sons; Jimmy Davis & wife Janice, Darrell Davis and wife Sheri and Michael Davis; one stepson, Marvin Coppock; one stepdaughter Janet Davis & husband Walter; and many grandchildren & great grandchildren, along with numerous beloved friends.
