He loved his family and friends and always had a story that would make you smile.        He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Irene Smith.        Survivors: His wife, Mary of Colleyville; his son, Brian Smith and his wife, Maurine, and their children, Margaret, Charles and James of Chicago, Ill.; his daughter, Jacquelyn Duhamel and her husband, Marcel, and their daughters, Emma and Miriam, of Shaker Heights, Ohio; his sister, Barbara Schwarz and her husband, Nathan, of Hawthorn Woods, Ill.; nieces, Jeri Atleson and her husband, Jason, and Michelle Grady and her husband Michael; great-nieces and great-nephews, Bailey and Macie Atleson and Ian and Taylor Grady; cousins, Beverly and Keith Holt of Bedford; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Mary Skyles of Fort Worth; and his beloved dogs, Solomon and Sampson of Colleyville.
