Richard Stringer

MANSFIELD -- Richard Raymond Stringer, 41, passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, in Mansfield.  Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Blessing Funeral Home Chapel, 401 Elm St., Mansfield. Burial: Long Creek Cemetery, Granbury. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Blessing Funeral Home.  Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's name to the MD/ALS departments of UT-Southwestern Medical Center, Box 910888, Dallas, Texas 75391-0888.  Richard was born Oct. 3, 1965, in Houston, the son of Walter D. and Geraline Lewis Stringer. He married Tami Tankersley Brown on Feb. 14, 2006, in Arlington.  Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Geraline.  Survivors: Wife, Tami Stringer; children, Madison and Kaylee Stringer; stepchildren, Zachery, Madison, Kaeli and Austin Brown; father, Walter David Stringer; sisters, Susan Alzner and Anne Petterson and husband, Leon; and nieces, Jenilee Land and husband, Bryce, and Heather and Mandy Petterson.
