Robert Bond

BURLESON -- Robert Samuel "Sam" Bond, 74, an excavation contractor and rancher, died Saturday, May 12, 2007, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Blessing Funeral Home. Sam was born Jan. 23, 1933, in Pampa, the son of Clifford Byron and Edna Ada Rawlins Bond. He married Karen L. Hubbard in Mansfield on Nov. 20, 1983. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Edna Bond; and sister, Janice. Survivors: Wife, Karen Bond; children, Tiana Danielle Bond, Tresia Bond and Diane Bolinger and husband, Harvey; siblings, Kenneth Bond and wife, Lucille, Jim Bond and wife, Sue, Jean Godfrey and husband, Bob, and Jerry Bond and wife, Bobbie Lee; grandchildren, Jessi Kennedy, Ryan, Nathaniel, Mackinzie and Andrew Bolinger; numerous extended family members.
