HURST -- Robert James "Bob" Bryson, 80, passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at his home with his loving family. Service: Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7341 Glenview Drive, North Richland Hills, with Father Karl Schilken, celebrant. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Bob was born Jan. 2, 1930, in Gloucester, N.J., to Thomas Albert and Emma Bettle Bryson. Bob was proud to have served as deputy sheriff for 13 years in Imperial County, Calif. He also was very active in S.A.L.T. in Hurst and was one of the founding directors. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannette Dugnolle. Survivors: Bob is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Donna Bryson; daughter, Sherry Wright and husband, David; son, Richard Bryson and wife, Raquel; grandchildren, Stacy Schueneman and Jeremy Redfox; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Joan Rittenhouse.
