ROBERT JENKINS

FORT WORTH -- Robert Perry "Bob" Jenkins, 79, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, Nov. 15, 2009.        Memorial service: 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at St. Christopher Episcopal Church, 3550 Southwest Loop 820. Visitation: Family and friends will be received noon to 1 p.m. Monday in the church's fellowship hall.        A native of De Leon, Bob was born Nov. 18, 1929, the son of Ross and Neva Kelly Jenkins. He graduated from Lampasas High School before serving four years in the Army Air Force during the Korean War.        Following his tour of duty, Bob worked for TU Electric Co. He retired from the company in 1984.        Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte Tippins Jenkins; sister, Carlyne Jenkins Vickery; son, Tim Daniel; and grandson, Shane Jenkins.        Survivors: In addition to his wife of 37 years, Joanne "Jan" Slocum Jenkins, Bob is survived by his sons, Charles Jenkins and his wife, Kathleen, Robert P. "Bubba" Jenkins Jr. and Chris "Kit" Daniel and his wife, Teresa; daughter, Jody Daniel Miller and her husband, Kirk; grandchildren, Kelly and Charlotte Jenkins, Jeremy Jenkins, Paige and Melanie Daniel, Beth Daniel Ayer, Neil and Eric Daniel and Morgan Miller; and brother, Willard "Bill" Jenkins.
