Robert Shelton,

Robert Bine Shelton Sr., 85, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, July 23, 2010 in the Mansfield Nursing and Rehab Center in Mansfield, Texas. Bob was born in Elrod, Indiana on May 3, 1925, the son of Jesse Everett Shelton and Alma Louise Niemyer Shelton. He was the husband of Katherine Louise Cook Shelton. Mr. Shelton was a veteran of World War II honorably serving in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946. Bob was a retired carpenter and member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include his Wife, Katherine Shelton; six children, Michael RayShelton, Gary Wayne Shelton, Ricky Lynn Shelton, Robert Bine Shelton, Jr., Tara Bailey and Tina Marie Mosley; two stepchildren, Bobby Earl Shockley and Bonnie Gunter; one sister, Nancy Smith; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and an abundance of friends and acquintances.
