Roberto Roberto “Roy” Irabagon was born on December 20, 1944 in San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines to the late Purificacion Roberto and Jose Reyes Irabagon. He passed away on April 6, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 79.
Roberto was a committed Catholic and attended Mass at St. John Catholic Church. He retired from Thyssen Krupp after over 20 years of service. He previously works as an electrical engineer at the postal office in the Philippines where he was highly respected by his coworkers and colleagues. He savored every moment there and loved to tell a lot of stories and moments about his time there. Despite his high status at that job; he decided to leave and sacrifice for the better future of his children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eduardo Irabagon; and sister, Fe Irabagon.
He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Daisy Cristina Lanote Irabagon of Fort Worth; children, Rico Irabagon of Michigan, Rhoneil John Irabagon and wife Charisma of Fort Worth, Rachelle Irabagon of Canada, Raineri Irabagon of Fort Worth, Richard Irabagon and wife, Janet of Haltom City, Reymond Irabagon of Fort Worth, Rachel Lee and husband Chester of Fort Worth, and Ryan Abraham Irabagon and wife, Katrina also of Fort Worth; siblings, Jose Irabagon, Jr. and wife, Lionisa of Mondeline, Illinois, Romeo Irabagon of California, Donato Irabagon and wife, Barbara of Skokie, Illinois, Imelda Irabagon and husband, Mariano Musngi, of Morton Grove, Illinois, Elsa Marquardt and husband, Emil of Chicago, Nenita Irabagon of Oak Lawn, Illinois, Minerva Irabagon of Oak Lawn, Illinois; 15 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A Visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 11, 2024 followed by funeral service at 12:00 Noon at Williams and Lucas Funeral Chapel located at 517 N. Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111.
