Robin Stewart

Robin Diane Stewart, 56, of Rendon, went to be with the Lord at 6:50 P.M. on Friday, July 25, 2008, after a courageous 8 1/2 year battle against breast cancer.Robin was born to Marita and Robert Blake on May 12, 1952 in Amittyville, NY. She moved with her family to Scottsdale, AZ in 1967 where she met her high school sweetheart Mike Stewart. According to Mike, it was love at first sight. She attended college in Mesa, Az and pursued a career as a radiology technician. Robin and Mike were married in Scottsdale in 1973. Following Mikes graduation in 1976 from Arizona State, the couple moved to Fort Worth, Texas where Robin changed careers and became the Assistant Vice President of Investments at M Bank. She left banking to become a fulltime mother.Robin was exceptionally devoted to the loves of her life, Michael, Matthew (born 1988) and Rachel (born 1991), as well as :Zoey, their canine princess She found strength, peace, hope and joy from her devout Christian faith. She was a faithful member of various Bible Study groups, as well as several ministries at her church.Robin was a caring, compassionate and inspiring friend to many. She loved sitting on her porch with her Bible, her coffee, her trees, her birds, her gardens and her God.Her memory may be honored with a gift to the American Cancer Society or to Vitas Hospice.
