HURST -- Roger Wayne Smith, 51, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8:30 p.m Wednesday at the funeral home. Roger was an employee of H.M. Dunn and had been a machinist for 25 years. His passions in life were his family and fast cars. He served with honor in the U.S. Navy from 1978 to 1982. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray Smith, and his brother, Doug Smith. Survivors: Wife, Jamie Smith; sons, Dustin, Spencer, Nolan and Brandon; daughters, Brooke and Ashlyn; brothers, Mitch, Keith, Tim, Jason and Christopher; sisters, Charlotte, Shannon, Melissa, Jennafer and Brandy; parents, J.R. and Norma Main; grandchildren, Haley, Jaci, Hayden, Colby, Logan, Leah, Aaliyah, Aliyanah and Wyatt; and numerous nieces and nephew.
