Rollin Wilson

Rollin Hugh Wilson, 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Mansfield on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006.  Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rollins memory to St. Gregorys Episcopal Church, 1091 Country Club Drive, Mansfield, Texas 76063, of which he was a founding member and active parishioner.  Rollin was born in Syracuse, N.Y., the oldest of three children of Arthur W. and Katherine Roser Wilson. He grew up in Marcellus, N.Y., and attended Duke and Syracuse universities. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married Abigail Parsons on June 24, 1961, in Rye, N.H. He had a career in sales, a passion for golf, the gift of storytelling and a great sense of humor.  He will be missed dearly by his many friends and family members.  Survivors: His loving wife of 46 years, Abby; daughter, Cheryl of Mansfield; son, Hugh and wife, Lorrie, of Arlington; daughter, Holly and husband, Tom, of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Chris, Cristine, Abby and Matt; brother, Frank Wilson and wife, Louise; brother, Arthur Wilson Jr. and wife, Loralee, all of Marcellus, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
