Ronald Burnett Coffey

FORT WORTH -- Ronald Burnett Coffey, a loving and caring father, brother, son and friend, made his final jump from this life and received his heavenly wings Friday, December 5, 2014. Graveside: 11 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2015 in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu flowers, donations are requested to the Disabled Veterans Association. Ron honorably and faithfully served his country in the Vietnam War, earning numerous medals and decorations, including Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Metal, National Defense Service Metal and his jump wings while serving with the 173rd Air Borne Brigade. He was a loyal member of the V.F.W. Ron attended Diamond Hill Jarvis High School. His love of automobiles took him to various auto clubs, leading to his dream job of antique auto restoration. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burnett Coffey and Anna Mae Isbell; brother, David Coffey; son, Ronald Burnett Snow and friend, Roycelene Snow. Survivors: Ron is survived by daughter, Jacklyn and Dick McNeil of Lawton, OK; son, Charles and Stephanie Snow of Hurst; brothers, Tracy Hawkins of Euless, Larry Coffey of New Mexico; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
