Ronald Eugene Olson

Ronald Eugene Olson,74, passed away on December 30, 2013 surrounded by his family in Keller, Texas Service: Celebration of Life at 11:00am on Saturday, January 4th, at Davis Memorial United Methodist Church. Internment will be at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with military honors at a time to be determined. Ron was born in Brainerd, Minnesota, on November 11, 1939 to Clifford and Edna Olson. He was a much loved husband, a wonderfully fun grandpa, and an encouraging father. He loved his family and cherished his home life. Ron was a proud U.S. Marine. With his meticulous skills as a handyman and mechanic, he had the reputation of being able to fix anything. We will miss his unique humor, which made every family event better. He was preceded in death by his father Clifford John Olson, mother Edna Bernice Neilson Olson Jensen, his brother Emil Olson. Survivors: Wife, Linda Pryor Olson, Daughters, Stacy Olson Anderson and husband Andy of North Richland Hills, Jackie Olson Martinez and husband Hugo of Corpus Christi, his much treasured grandchildren Erik, Jack and Zoe, Sister Janet Janke of Princeton, MN, brother James Jensen of Coon Rapids, MN, and many cousins, nieces and nephews and long time friends.
