BEDFORD -- Blaine Wells, 51, passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at a local hospital. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Trinity Baptist Church, 920 Central Drive, Bedford, with the pastor, the Rev. Henry Bournes, officiating. Burial: Blaine will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. in Davis Cemetery, County Road 4511, Athens. Visitation: Blaine will lie in state Monday afternoon at Lucas Hurst Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Blaine was a loving and loved son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and cousin, all a very close family. The family said, "He was a carpenter like Jesus." He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Blaine was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Wells.
