Rose May Woods Gladden, 100 of Pilot Point went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 11, 2010. She was born to R.L. and Lena Woods on January 6, 1910 in Terrell. She was raised in Farmersville and resided in the Pilot Point area for 70 years. She married Charlie R. Gladden on December 1, 1928 in Farmersville. In 1942, she joined Calvary Baptist Church in Pilot Point where she was recently recognized as the oldest living member. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Ettredge of Pilot Point and Patsy Blake and husband Robert of Tyler. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Debbie Cagle of Franklin, TN, Stephanie Haynes of Tyler, Charles Ettredge of Ruston, LA, Mark Ettredge and wife Brenda of Denton, Mike Ettredge and wife Barbara of Pilot Point and Blake Ettredge and wife Terri of Whitesboro. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, Aaron Haynes, Philip Haynes, Austin Ettredge, Jason Ettredge, Matthew Ettredge, James Ettredge, Zachary Cagle, Tammy Foote, Gretchen Ettredge, Katie Pipes and Ashley Ettredge and one great-great-grandson, Jack Pipes. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five sisters, one brother and one great-grandson Daniel.
