Rosy Smith

Rosy K. Smith, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Rosy was born in Gorizia, Italy, on March 4, 1924. She was married for 56 years to MAJ (Ret) Leslie E. Smith until his death in 2002. After raising her three children, Rosy spent the next 30 years volunteering her services to the St. Vincent De Paul Society in Austin and San Antonio and the Wesley Mission in Mansfield. She was member of St. Joseph's parish in Arlington, and most recently St. Jude's in Mansfield. Rosy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Parker Goodwin of Mansfield, her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Les Smith, Jr. of Edison, NJ, and her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Colm Chomicky of Prairie Village, KS, and her three grandsons.
