Rubye Katherine McCord

Rubye Katherine McCord, 90, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall St., Grapevine. Rubye was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Irving to John and Addie Powers. She was the youngest of seven children. She was a resident of Grapevine for 64 years. Rubye was a homemaker and loved to travel. Rubye was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Frank McCord, and her parents. Survivors: Daughter, Darlene King and husband, Al; son, Randy and wife, Beverly; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
