Rudy Billmeier

Huff-Slay Funeral Home Pilot Point, Texas Rudy Joe Billmeier, 59 of Gordonville, Texas passed away at Wilson Jones Emergency Room Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Rudy was born to Margie Oleta Cummings Billmeier and Harley Lee Billmeier in Pilot Pont, TX on November 12, 1952. He worked as a carpenter. Rudy was a twenty year member of AA of Sherwood Shores. Rudy loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing and watching Pilot Point Bearcat football. He also was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan but enjoyed all sports. Rudy's family will host a visitation at Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point Thursday, April 12 from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Rudy will be Friday, April 13, 2012 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Huff / Slay Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Luther Slay officiating. Burial will be at Pilot Point Community Cemetery. Rudy is survived by his mother, Margie Oleta Billmeier of Pilot Point; his wife, Linda Billmeier of Gordonville, TX; daughter, Nicole Billmeier of Pilot Point; sons, Steve Billmeier and wife, Melanie of Pilot Point and D.J. Billmeier of Whitesboro. Other survivors include one sister, Millie King of Arlington, TX; and one brother, Eddie Billmeier also of Arlington, TX survive. Rudy was blessed with ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Harley Billmeier, his first wife, Phyllis, and one brother, Fred Billmeier, Sr.. A large extended family also survives Rudy. Services are under the direction of Huff / Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point.
