Ruth Meek

Ruth Dean Meek, formerly of Hurst, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Santa Fe Baptist Church, 1502 Santa Fe Drive, Weatherford. Interment: 2:30 p.m. in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donate memorials to Santa Fe Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie R. Meek; son, Hollis A. Meek; her parents; three sisters; and two brothers. Survivors: Children, Ray Meek, Jeanie Jayne and husband, Harold, and Anita Ferro and husband, Steve; sister, Doris Sard; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends and fellow church members.
