Ruth Peak

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Ruth Ennis Peak, 96, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010, at a local care facility. Funeral: 3 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, 137 E. Hill St., Keller. Visitation: The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home. Ruth was born July 22, 1913, in Greensburg, Ky. She graduated from Georgetown College, later teaching both grade school and high school. She was an officer of and active in several community organizations in Plainfield, Ind., where she resided with her now deceased husband, George W. Peak, former secretary and treasurer of the Public Service Co. of Indiana. Survivors: Son, George Peak and his wife, Jeananne; grandsons, Stephen and his wife, Maria, James, David and his wife, Pamela, and Robert and his wife, Natalie; and nine great-grandchildren.
