SAMUEL HAYMAN

FORT WORTH -- Samuel Hayman, beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle, died peacefully Wednesday morning, March 10, 2010, in his 93rd year.        Service: 2 p.m. Friday in Kornbleet Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 411 N. University Drive. Dr. Javier Smolarz, ritual director, will officiate. Following committal prayers, Samuel will be laid to rest next to his wife of 55 years, Pearl, in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery.        Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Congregation Ahavath Sholom or a charity of one's choice, honoring Samuel's memory, is suggested.        A native of Boise, Idaho, Samuel was born June 27, 1916, the son of Hyman and Celia Wolpert Hayman. He and his wife operated the family business, Gilmore's Paint & Wallpaper, before retiring to Tamarac, Fla. They moved to Fort Worth in March 2001.        Samuel served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Congregation Ahavath Sholom and B'nai B'rith.        Survivors: In addition to his son, Howard Hayman and his wife, Claire, of Wellesley, Mass., and daughter, Cynthia Hayman Labovitz and her husband, Harry, of Fort Worth, Samuel is survived by his grandchildren, Jamie Hayman and his wife, Christina, Jennifer Hayman, Eric Labovitz, Darcy Labovitz Miller and her husband, Stephen, and Jill Labovitz; great-grandchildren, Ella and Sabrina Hayman and Sheldon Miller; and nieces and nephews and their families.
