She taught elementary school for 36 years and was an artist her entire life, having been taught by her father, early Texas artist and TCU professor Samuel Ziegler. Samye and Don would have been married 60 years in January. Samye was a wonderful wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She never stopped teaching and was a very talented artist. Samye was preceded in death by her oldest son, Bruce, who died in 1973. Samye had many friends and relatives. We will miss you, Mom, but look forward to seeing you again.        Survivors: Husband of 60 years, Don; son, David Hunt and wife, Teresa; daughter, Suzi Gamez and husband, Edward; and grandchildren, Lauren Hunt and fiance, Blake Brogdon, Andrew Hunt, Charles Gamez, George Gamez and wife, Jennifer, and their children, Mary Katherine, Emelia, Andrew and Elizabeth.
