Sandra Lee Linehan

Sandra Lee (Seaborn) Linehan was born on February 18, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Lois Irene (Sweat) Seaborn and James Perry Seaborn. She passed away on March 3, 2025 in De Soto, Texas at the age of 79.

Sandra grew up in Fort Worth graduating from Fort Worth Technical High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Texas Wesleyan College and her master’s degree at Pensacola Christian College.

Sandra taught at Kennedale High School, Temple Christian School, and in Fort Worth ISD, White Settlement ISD, and Grand Prairie ISD. She also taught classes at Tarrant County Junior College. She worked for the federal government but decided she liked teaching more than anything else. She taught all grade levels but had a special love for junior high.

She advocated for fellow brain cancer patients and other cancer survivors. Sandra helped send many young people to college and was always an encourager. She loved lighthouses, Ireland, and her dogs. She was an avid antique collector and wonderful storyteller.

She is survived by her husband of over 58 years, Truett Glenn Linehan; son, James Linehan and wife, Janet of North Richland Hills; daughter, Holly Riggs and husband, Desmond Dupree of Desoto; grandchildren, Kenny Linehan and wife, Bridget and Katie Hibpshman and husband, Anthony; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation with reception will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home located at 517 N. Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111. Committal service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 17, 2025, at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
