Sarah Flore

EULESS -- Sarah Jane Flore, 28, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011, at her home in the company of her loving family. She had struggled many years with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She fought a good battle. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, in the First Baptist Church of Euless with Rev. Dr. John Meador, Rev. Dr. Jimmy Draper and Chaplain Joel Watson officiating. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Lucas Funeral Home 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Sarah loved God and had great faith. She had many good friends. Everyone who came in contact with her formed a special relationship with her. The family wants to give special thanks to the Vitas Hospice Team who lovingly cared for Sarah. Also so very special was the attention surrogate aunts, Zoe Ann Whitley and Cindy Cato gave her. Sarah was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary White and brother, Tiger Flore Survivors: best friend and loving mother, Claudia Flore; brother William Gary Monroe; sisters, Robin Atkinson and husband Larry, and Ann Marie Phelps and husband, John; nieces Ashley Lambeth and Allison Phelps; nephew, Jonathan Phelps; uncle, Francis Jack Flore of Tuscon, Arizona.
