FORT WORTH -- Sarajo Daniel Snider, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 11, 2012, during her 93rd year. Service: 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper. She will be laid to rest privately, next to her husband Bill, in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: Family and friends will gather from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Great Room at the funeral home. A native of Stamford, Sarajo was born June 11, 1918, the daughter of Artman and Cora Mae Donalson Daniel. She was a graduate of Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth. Sarajo married W. D. "Bill" Snider on June 1, 1954. Prior to Bill's death in 1992, he and Sarajo were quite the dancers; they could often be found tapping their toes at the Elk's Club and as members of Fandango Dance Club. They also enjoyed fishing trips with friends at Rockport and going to the horse races. Sarajo was an avid bridge player and retired from Rogers' Shoe Store in downtown Fort Worth. For the past several years, she was a resident of Broadway Plaza at Cityview where she met and made many wonderful friendships. Her family wishes to express sincere appreciation to all of the wonderful people associated with Broadway Plaza. Survivors: In addition to her daughters, Sonja Conway and her daughter, Christina Sheehy and her husband, Frank, and Lahoma White and her husband, P.W., and their daughters, Brandi White and Bethany White Turner, Sarajo is survived by her great-grandchildren, Madison, Frank and Bradley; sister, Fritzi Selasky of Lubbock; three nieces; and two nephews.
