Sharon Epting

Sharon Elise Harris Epting, 60, a caring wife and mother, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 in Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. Sharon was born July 25, 1949 in Ft Worth. She was a lifelong resident of Mansfield. After graduating from TCC, formerly TCJC in 1967-68, majoring in Accounting, she went to work for Neil G. Penrose Oil Co. and Shenandoah Oil. Co. She was a member of the Desk and Derrick Petroleum Club of Ft. Worth and served as treasurer. With her experience in oil and gas taxes she was controller for Graco Supply Co. and Ft. Worth Lumber Co. Sharon loved to pass her time reading books. In the early years, she would go fishing with her husband Mike and read while he was pulling in fish. Sharon was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #624, Deer Creek Lodge, Everman. She served as Worthy Matron in 1977-78. Every June, Sharon loved to attend the Texas Shrine Association Competition Meeting with husband Mike, whom along with their son Nicholas, are Shriners in the Oriental Band....
