Sherman Lee Barker, 71, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday at South Arlington Church of Christ, 830 Eden Road, Arlington. Interment: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Quattlebaum Cemetery, Bee Branch, Ark. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield.Sherman was the son of Harvey and Lucille Barker. He married Mary Ann Ring on January 3, 1958 in Little Rock Ark. He was a retired truck driver with ABF. Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Mary Ann Barker; children, Curtis Barker and wife, Waynette, Patricia Self and husband, David, Karen Myers and husband, Johnny, Tammy Aylesworth and husband, Andy, Traci Perdue and husband, Billy; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine Guffey and husband, Danny, of Conway, Ark.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
