Shirley Ann Long

Shirley Ann Long, 79, passed away August 15, 2014. Service: Will be held privately on Tuesday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Shirley was born June 29, 1935 to Lawrence Anderson and Katherine Delmatter Anderson in Lawton, Michigan. Shirley was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. After moving to Texas ten years ago, she became a fan of the Texas Rangers. She was athletic and played basketball in school. As much as she loved her family, she equally loved her dachshund, Cindy. Preceded in death by: her husband, Bruce; brother, Jerry Anderson; sisters, Thelma Wykoff and Marilyn Zysk. Survivors: sons, Thomas Long, Matthew Long and his wife, Barbara, and Mark Long and his wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Holly, Jayden, Jaysen, Michael, and James Long; brother, Lawrence Anderson.
