ALVARADO -- Susan Lee Neavin, 63, passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 29, 2009, surrounded by family and wonderful friends after a short battle with lymphoma. Service: 6 p.m. Thursday at Blessing Funeral Home, the Rev. Dave Carlson and the Rev. Dan Wright officiating. Private interment: Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blessing Funeral Home. Memorials: Donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society North Texas Chapter or Community Hospice of Texas. Susan was born Dec. 24, 1945, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to William and Martha Writer. She married Frank H. Neavin III on June 27, 1964. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha E. Writer-Givens, and William S. Writer; sister, Judy Green; and beloved husband, Frank H. Neavin III. Survivors: Sons, Timothy Neavin, Scott Neavin and wife, Corey, Brian Neavin and wife, Suzan, and Jason Neavin, all of Alvarado; sister, Linda Compton and husband, Norman, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; sister-in-law, Ann Neavin and husband, Wade Stinchcomb, of Maryland; brother-in-law, Brad Neavin and wife, Mary, of Washington; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephew
